HOW IT WORKS?
Generate Revenue
Through our worldwide broker channel, we are confident that we can generate the highest revenue possible from our customers' redundant IT equipment. Revenue generated is used to offset retirement related costs with a profit share passed back to the customer.
If the equipment cannot be refurbished to a saleable standard, then the unit is broken down and the individual parts are harvested and brokered as second user spare parts to help keep older machines in use for people not yet ready to change their equipment.
As a final option, if the unit has no re-saleable components, then the components themselves are sent for further treatment to reclaim precious metals by breaking them down to their base component materials.
In almost all cases we are able to provide the customer a revenue stream from redundant equipment sufficient to cover all processing and transportation costs. In a majority of jobs this revenue stream is greater than the costs involved in the process, and in these instances we offer a profit share back to the customer.
Retirement Process
Upon receipt at Partners IT all equipment is segregated into type ( PC’s, laptops, printers, monitors and servers) All other equipment is classified as general equipment. Every item of equipment is bar-coded and allocated its own unique asset number to facilitate future audit trails. Your Asset number (if applicable) make model & serial number are available on our on-line asset report.
If the Equipment has a hard drive it is segregated, the Hard Drive is given a Unique ID, and the unit the Hard Drive was removed from is tied to this ID for visibility. The Drive is then immediately data erased and/or degaussed. When the data has been destroyed the erasure/disposal certificate is available for on-line download.
To provide a total & transparent audit trail, a comprehensive asset report is available for download in PDF - including data erase certification

WEEE Audit
Our account managers work with you to understand the configuration, age, quality and quantity of your used computer equipment, together with your business objectives in order to determine which service or combination of services will offer your organisation the most value. If visiting the site is not practicable, then you can register and use our on-line system to list your assets, we will then asses the requirements and arrange the best course of action to meet your requirements In the unlikely event that the residual value is greater than our costs, Partners IT will simply raise an invoice for the difference and subject to the customer's authorisation, complete the disposal. At no stage will there be any hidden costs, our business is completely transparent. With on-line asset reports, and downloadable certificates available via a secure web link our clients can rest assured that their equipment is fully accountable for compliance within the WEEE directive.

If required we can use our own vehicles and drivers and will collect equipment from any mainland UK location at a pre agreed time that suits you. Every collection is returned to our processing centre same day.On the day of collection we provide both a Duty of Care Transfer Note, which has to be signed by both the customer and the Partners IT representative.
All liabilities are passed to Partners IT at this point.
